Need Someone Good With Home Audio

I'm looking for some speakers for my bed room. I already have an AMP and Sub woofer so I'm set with those two.

    What I Want:[/u]
    -A bundle of 2-4 speakers
-Around or under $250 for the bundle
-The size or brand do not matter
    -Want them to be LOUD

Basically find me the best valued speakers for around $250 total.

    Thanks.

For $150-$200 will get you some thumping Bose.

I can turn these all the way up with my 7 channel SONY amp and have no distortion. Great speakers for the price!

Most audiophiles will agree that when you buy Bose, you pay for the name, not the technology. I wouldn't recommend Bose.

That's what I've heard as well. I know quite a bit about audio and what brands are good, but haven't owned a wide variety of speakers. Just trying to get a consumers view point on what works the best when you're on a budget, but want a lot of sound.

I've looked at Sony and found some bookshelf speakers, but want to explore other options. I started with Dayton Audio, but was disappointed because the bookshelf speakers blew out relatively early. I do love the sub woofer though.

I'm an audiophile. I own an older pair of Grado GS1000 headphones, and my home theater consists of only Klipsch Audio products.
Bose's older style speakers work wonders for the size and price. I hate their newer "surround sound" and their "over ear" headphones. Yet my 10 year old set of Bose Acoustimass 5 Series II that my dad handed down to me, still surprise me with quality.
