Hmm...quick question. If I bought this from my laptop, can I also use it on my desktop? I know it has something to do with an ip address linked authority...

 

Has nothing to do with I.P. auths or anything. Just download it to your desktop. And run the magic.jar. It will ask for a username/password This logs into your RID account. For instance I can go to japan on a completly new toshiba and still log into my RID account through the program. And just set the points and rune it.

 

Ther is something wrong with the chat responder. I went on an account to test it, I said simple things like Hello, Hey, Magic lvl, and the bot didnot respond.

I went to the RID website to see if the bot picked up on any of this in the My robot page, the page has my magic lvl wrong, and the last thing it "apparently" responded to was over 4 months ago.

My RID username is Sharrath.

 

It isn't designed to respond to every thing all the time, it's supposed to be unpredictable (a good thing) and it has been talking (maybe not in your case), but if you PM me details (which minigame you were in, what the bot was doing, if you were spamming comments, was there other people there talking with you, etc) I'll check up on it. So, when I downloaded the trial there's nothing to run. Only .class and a .MF file.

Hm, I seem to be having a problem. I can't get it to do alchemy. All of the other parts work fine, this one is just not working. All of my settings are correct. RID user "esuom".

 

I made a account for the trial, and..I never received a e-mail, and when I tried login in I was out of credit?

 

This is answered on the support page at www.robotzindisguise.com. This can happen if your operating system doesn't recognise the jar file type, instead it's showing the file as a folder. When you extract Trial.rar you should reveal just one folder called Trial, which contains two jar files, substance.jar and Magic.jar. To run the trial (instead of opening it as a folder), right click on Magic.jar and choose to open with
'Program Files\Java\jre...\bin\javaw'. Once selected your operating system will remember and open the program with Java in the future.

I appreciate you trying to help. But it's still giving me problem # 3 on the support page. And I still can't get it to work. I have the run.class file opening with java but it still gives me the error. UGH.

 

I guess I worked the problem out. Alchemy (for me) works when I set the bot to only do alchemy, but not while I have it set up to do multiple different games. (enchant + alchemy)


Also, one thing I noticed, can you do something about it pausing while in Graveyard? My brother got on the computer, thus pausing the bot, while I was in graveyard. This is bad because you die quite easily...I don't know if there is anyway you can solve this, its just a heads up.

I keep getting that same problem and I tried exactly what you said and the problem persists. What does the 'jre...' mean? I have two jre files under the java folder, jre1.6.0_07 and jre6. Help is appreciated, thanks.

 

He means jre1.6.0_07 . Thats the current version you have installed so just check that folder.

 

The download for the trial is a rar file, called Trial.rar, once you extract it you will find a folder called 'Trial' inside that folder there should be two files named substance.jar and Magic.jar, BUT if your operating system doesn't recognise the JAR file type then they will show up as folders.
If you get this problem, then clicking on Magic will open a folder (containing class files) instead of starting the bot. To fix this problem, right click on the Magic folder and browse to select a program to open it with, and choose Java\jre...\bin\javaw (for windows users, the folder where Java is installed is usually in Program Files, if not do a search to find it). This will run the bot, and from that point onwards your system will open jar files with Java instead of treating them as folders. Hope that helps.

JRE stands for Java Runtime Environment, and I haven't specified an exact version number because most versions will run the bot fine. If you have more than one version, choose the latest (with highest version number) and delete the others.

Edit: Just a quick question. I bought hours for my main but is it possible to switch that to my pure? I changed my mind on who to do it on but I don't know if you guys will allow me to switch my hours to a different character.

 

You can transfer hours to different account on the http://www.robotzindisguise.com page. Go to MyRobot and log in with your RID username and password. There you see a button "Transfer Hours", press it and then just change the rs name.

You can do this 3times a month.

I love this bot, it works amazing on my laptop but on my slower computer downstairs it seems to either stop or go slow, however when I put it on real time it seems to work just fine.

Amazing bot just like before, really good mouse movements, definitely worth buying.
