I don't really think it matters or is relevant. Science's incorrectness or lack of explanation does not posit a third intermediary relationship like God. See Occum's razor.

This is a question that will never be awnsered, so I feel like we cannot say that he doesnt exist without having any proof. Everything is created by something else, so I figure that we had to be created by some greater force. The point is that the awnser is so complex that we can't even imagine it.

 

I also find it funny that most of the people on this thread that say that they believe in God put that they're christian after it. You dont have to be any religion to believe in God. I for one don't have a specific religion, I believe that there's a God and just live a good life, the end.

 

I believe that there is a God that people believe in. The fact that believing in God has made some people heroes and actually caused some of the most deadly conflicts the world has ever seen. I do believe there is a god in my religion.

And I totally agree with you, but what do you mean by 'You're all idiots'? I assume you're talking about the religious people?

 

Personally, I feel that there is no "God" as there is no evidence proving that there is a "God" ever throughout history. Most of it are stories written down in books and no cold hard evidence that "God" or any other biblical figures for that matter exist at all. I also do not see how there could be just a "God" as if he made everyone, who in fact made him? I feel that without religion or maybe just differences in belief, this world would be a better place, seeing as differences in beliefs were how the Jews were persecuted during the Holocaust and also the cause of the war between Shiites and Sunnis.

The theory of evolution is a solid scientific expenditure; it's not his business to educate you. However, the mechanism of evolution is certainly still up for debate.

The discoverer of the atomic theory didn't believe in god. what's your point? you think the atomic theory is a myth as well? how do we make nuclear reactions? the atomic theory cannot be proven, its impossible, tho it works.

And how about you actually read the bible. God supports slavery, child abuse and rape, god wants you to kill homo's, non believers and people who work on the sabbath (which is actually Saturday but the church thought Sunday was more convenient). matter cannot be created or destroyed (there goes "creationism" right there)

the universe is billions of years old, not a few thousand.
