Well usually it tends to influence their decisions, and personally it scares me a little bit to think our president believes there is a little man in the sky he can talk to. (Maybe not so much w/ Obama now but definitely with Bush)

Because without Religion there would be nothing for science to prove wrong.

And for people who beleive in the "scientific theory" we can ask you the same questions you ask us about God.

Yes because the only point of any type of science is to prove that some drunkards ramblings from thousands of years ago are incorrect.

Bullshit, there's plenty of other subjects scientists contiouosly attempt to prove/disprove. It's not limited to religion. Infact, many a scientists directs away from religion on purpose and focus purely on whatever field of science they study/test/investigate.

We didn't come from apes - we are apes. Furless, civilized, intelligent apes. Unfortunately, the latter cannot be said for all of us.

This change happened over millions of millions of years - you're certainly not going to find anything within a normal lifespan.

Learn to read, maybe then you might be able to put together at least a half-decent argument.

We didn't evolve from apes - we evolved from a common ancestor. As Personal Jesus stated, we ARE apes; highly intelligent apes which took a different evolutionary path.

    Macroevolution takes MILLIONS of years.

Why have you chosen to believe in a God?

Why do you need to know "which God" is the one you think exists? Why can't you just go on spirituality instead of religiosity?

    You're agnostic
He's agnostic... he does not believe in a specific God, he just believes there is a higher power.
He's agnostic, He's undecided on what monotheism/polytheism he want's to follow.

Erotophilia, I don't think that's what constitutes an agnostic. Agnostics don't know whether or not there is a god, either because they don't care or because there is no evidence either way.

I do not really believe in God, i don't go to church or pray.
But I do know that SOMETHING/SOMEONE had to create all of this.

Show me proof santa doesn't exist. Show me proof the easter bunny doesn't exist. Show me proof there isn't a teapot orbiting the sun right now.

    See how ridiculous that is?
The burden of proof is on the person making the positive claim. So show me proof a god does exist, not the other way around.

Why? The way I see it, existence is absolute - it has no beginning and no end, as is with ALL matter; everything that exists today has always existed in some form of either energy or matter. Even the theist must agree with this, as to disagree would imply that their God didn't exist to begin with, let alone now.
