Why do you believe this?

 

I just beleive theres a God because I think he made all of this. You have to think that if there wasnt a God would we be here. I know you'll probably talk about Science and stuff but thats just my opinion.

You're using the argument from ignorance - "I can't think anything else that could have created everything, so therefore, God must exist".

Opinions do not belong in SFA - hard reasoning and logic do.

 

But when I was a little kid then I thought there is God. But now as I am almost grown up man I don't believe in such things anymore.

 

Me, im Christian, but Athiest half of the time i want to Believe a "god exsists, but half of the time i don't.

i believe there's something out there but nobody has gotten it right. And if they have its just a lucky guess. I'm the kind of guy who needs proof in stuff to alter my life completely following it. Kind of common sense IMO.

My reasons for believing are: witnessing demonic possesion, accurate Bible prophecies, and the complexity of the human and other living bodies.

How do you know that it was a genuine demonic possession, rather than a mentally insane person? Also, even if you had concrete evidence that it was a demon, how would that imply the existence of God?

What accurate, meaningful (predicting that wars will increase is not meaningful, predicting that there is a certain ratio of silicon to quartz on the dark side of the moon is very meaningful) Biblical prophecies are there?

The complexity of the human body does not point to God. It points to a lack of knowledge about what caused that complexity.

 

Shredderbeam god is real, because god is the love we feel within us and should be shared with the world. you must be a lonely person if you don't believe. i feel bad for you. GOD is an awesome god, he reins from heaven to earth!!!!

If god made people how they are, is it really their fault if they dont believe as god made them that way?

I do but i don't, i believe there is a higher power, Yes.
What the higher power is... Idk...
God? that is a hard thing to talk about... considering all the things in the bible were written about Sin, and to scare people it seems to keep people from doing bad things and to have them not afraid of death.
If there was a God, then why is it that he was only Active on/ working with earth back in the Bc's and early Ad's ? when has there been a report of someone in the last 200 years talking to god? seeing god? doing works for god? there hasnt been, and the only time there was, was 2 murder case's and the Woman claimed God told her to kill 3 people, and the other was a Insane man who tryed killing his family to "save them" from a damned future...

Im in 2 bible classes now... Bible as Lit. and Bible as History.... and everyone in my classes HATE me cause i dont see things the same way they do... i belive that if you want me to belive in 1 certain thing then show me a little bit of proof so that my mind can be changed... other wise... i belive in somthing... just idk what....

I believe there is a higher power because something had to have works in the creation of everything... it all had to start from something... and prophet's could exist in today's society just as easy as they could back then. what is stopping them from being alive and in the works today? nothing. and i know evil does not disprove theism, i hope everyone belives in something. but still the fact that evil works claimed to be done in "gods" name instead of good. come on now, i find that a little bit off. it makes no sense to go kill 100000 people and say GOD TOLD ME TOO. Bs its just so they can be seen and heard from everyone and make it out to look like they are somthing special. please reply back im enjoying ur comments =) thanks. ( i wont trying to act like a smart allic either)

Its their opinion and it's not like they are trying to shove it down your throats. Sadly, some people do though...
