Then maybe he shouldn't have served his country. It's just a place in which he lives. He was under no obligation to do so (or maybe he was in terms of conscription, but he could have conscientiously objected), and either way, he was under pay.

Let me tell you what happened.

He was in Bosnia.
A mortar hit his camp, and blew out all his joints and half his face.
He was piled in he dead until somebody noticed he was still alive.
Thus, he went to the hospital.. they replaced his joints and put a Kevlar plate in his jaw.
What did he do then?
He re-enlists... goes Army Ranger once more.
