Ah, it feels so good to know that some people will gladly sell themselves out when offered a bit of cash. Money rules the world, amirite? With Jacmob's skill, do you really think it would have been hard for him to land a good job? No, he basically sold his community and betrayed thousands just so that he could reach a higher position faster.

 

All I can say is thank you. It is about time that botting stopped and the game was actually played the way it was meant to.

Botting did initially defeat the point of the 'game' playing...but, not actually playing something that was specifically designed to be played is just stupid. I'm glad the bots cease to exist on a mass scale, I might actually get a conversation for once whilst training slayer.

 

The thing is that Jagex has made all of the content in RS end game now, so you have to spend all your time getting there and it isn't easy if you don't no life it.

This is true. However, RuneScape has been long past due for some end-game updates. Majority of their time has been spent accomidating the lower levels, and rarely focusing on the later ones.

Majority of users have had time to no-life or bot their account to the higher stats. For those that are new-er, I guess I can see why it would be frustrating. Though, it gives them something to look forward to.

Also, JaGex stated already that they plan to implement some changes in the future to the 'grinding' associated within the game. So, it may not be as bad as some think.

 

Cause BlackBone is totally trustworthy and has never lied in the past.

Rofl at Arbiter's comment 2 weeks ago on that "I can guarantee that this update will not affect RSBuddy one bit."

 

I sure hope so, because this is really the only major problem with playing legitimately. If it didn't take so much godamned time to achieve things, and the time spent wasn't so mind numbing and boring, then it wouldn't be so bad.

I started on one of my old characters in June on my quest to max his combat skills and turn him into a perfect barrows pure. I am STILL grinding away daily, and atleast another month away from full completion (mostly quests just left to do now).

It is absolutely ridiculous how much time I have wasted on this game in the last 4 1/2 months. Mind you, with the current circumstances in my life, I actually have alot more time to waste and playing RS is alot more productive than what I was doing before, but still. This is why I quit RS nearly 6 years ago in the first place, and went without playing for 5 whole years.. I simply did not have the time required to achieve anything ingame. It takes far too long, and the act of playing the game turns into a huge chore and you eventually end up wondering why you are evening playing anymore, when it just makes you miserable.

If Jagex tackled that problem at its core, then maybe people wouldn't even feel the need to bot. Even if they had minimal time during the day to actually play RS, the small time they did spend playing would be highly enjoyable and lots of fun!

I don't see how anyone can be talking about 'End game' there's still so many gaps to be filled levelling wise, there's no 90-100-110-120-130-138 gear, there's hardly ANYTHING that requires a 99 skill to obtain, and the list goes on, and on and on. 10 Years they've had to implement these things, yet they're still more concerned about MORE content, rather than missing content.

My question is this...

Now that they have tackled one major problem (botting) how much longer before sites like this and other sites that promote real world trading are taken on. By this major success then we can only expect Jagex to be successful at taking the last "black sheep" of runescape out.

 

They get our hopes up with a fucking countdown, and then lay this shit on us?? How am I supposed to get 85 dung now? I dont know shit about it!

It's called learning about dungeoneering; it's not hard. Dung is pretty fun actually, but only with other people.

 

Ah, finally a botting company has been taken down and will help destroy other botters. It's mainly auto typers that annoy me. Nice to see we will be having some of the old RS back, it won't quite like be 2006 though.

Gold is probably going to go up, so buy it now people while it's cheap!
