The End of Britain?

So, I clicked to watch a YouTube video earlier, and one of those annoying ads popped up and started playing. However for some reason I decided to click it and give it a read. It was on the topic of Britain dying (financially). I'd never thought about it before, but I did scare me in a way.
I'm curious,
-Has anyone seen this before?
-do you think there's any reality behind it?
-what's your opinion on the topic?

This is an interesting video from a channel I absolutely love. It concerns the revenue of both the country, and the royal family's surprisingly willing contribution


I think the figures in this video may convince you otherwise about Great Britain collapsing due to debt

 

The worldwide market as a whole is propped up by nonexistent money and debt, look at Japan, they spend something like 9X their countries GDP per year, which is even more than the US's. The facts presented to you may show doom and gloom, but keep in mind that government does not fall under the normal principles of rationality.

 

Great video, and nicely narrated too it definitely seems that the article I read is very over-hyped. Still, it does state the fact that we are in £700bn of debt, which is higher than many of the countries which are really struggling.
Although that doesn't guarantee the same will happen to us, it's pretty interesting
