Wikipedia was the closest thing I could find with an unbiased view.

My opinions on the movement are strewed. I've done a lot of research and I don't know what to think about it. I'm glad they are fighting corporations, but I am not glad with what they are trying to do with them, - that's about the only conclusion I can come to about Occupy Wallstreet protest. I do believe their is much corruption in congress, much of it being 'do nothing' congressman that are just their for the paycheck, and are tied to the view of Big Businesses solely for the purpose of keeping their jobs. It does start to get ridiculous with the list of the demands that the protesters have given, I don't think they should ever be met, and I seriously doubt they will be met.

What are your thoughts on the subject ?

The people who started the movement had good intentions, and I would support what they had to say. But most of the people who have jumped on don't know why they are protesting and are hoping they get more money somehow (i.e. tax cuts, tuition aid, loan reductions, etc.) This is why I no longer support the movement.

The movement was always about wealth redistribution, and reform of the tax system. We also pay far too damn much for public universities (at least relative to other 1st world modernized countries with top public schools)

Another thread about this... People needa learn to use the search button..

I support the cause of the protest. Equality for all citizens is a good thing to have that we don't have currently. The top 1% shouldn't control the other 99%.

Good intent overall, but a trivial pursuit in the end. Nothing will change, and this whole production gives the city brats a window of opportunity to act out idiotically and get away with it.

I can't really agree with the redistribution of wealth. That just doesn't seem right to me.
