I, AAMagenta, claim the guides I have written to be completely my own work and written by me using my own knowledge and I have not used any resources to create these guides. I accept that if my guides are found to be plagiarized I will be forum banned from User Education indefinitely.

Why I think I would be a good User Educator​

I think I would be a good user educator because I like to help people. I know it sounds corny, but I really do. I would make a great User Educator because I love to share knowledge. I am usually on sythe for 2-5 hours a day and can assist anyone to the best of my ability.

About Me​

My name is James. I am 23 years old and am currently at college studying to become a teacher. I don't know exactly what I am going to teach yet but I am majoring in communication and english. Every Monday and Thrusday during the school year I go to a elementary school and help with a Disabled Childrens class. The other teacher and I play games with the class and interact with them and teach them the essentials to be successful in life. Also, on Wednesdays I go to a 8th middle school theater class and help the teacher instruct with the hope of me learning a bit about how to teach theater class.

My Passion​

My passion is all things Apple especailly the iPhone. I always try new things with the iPhone and hopefully help all the iPhone/iPod/iPad users in the Sythe.org community.

Best of luck, however any guide involving anything runescape cannot be used on the application.

 

So the playing runescape on the iphone wouldthat be iphobe related or runescape related?

 

^ I think it's Runescape-related. Your first guide was too basic, in my opinion. I loved your second guide. Great use of pictures. You just should've used some nice colors.

First guide where good. Just annoying with all the yellow text, you should edit that.

Your application looks good so far. I love your introduction and the motivation you have to join the UE team. I'd possibly change your first guide since it is a bit Runescape-related (the other UEs may think differently). As for your second guide, there's plenty of guides written on how to Jailbreak an iPod. I suggest writing something creative and original, and something that hasn't been written before.

Your Jailbreak guide is something that covers a huge topic with plenty of other methods to cover, but you chose to focus only on one. This is fine, but you need to at least notify readers there are other options. I also see you didn't include anything about safeguarding your Jailbreak or expand on what Jailbreaking allows you to do. Thoroughness is definitely a quality that is important to being a good UE.

How is that Runescape-related? He just uses RuneScape as a java example because majority of the people on Sythe play or have played.

He could of said "How to load java applications on your iPod or iPhone"

I like your application a lot, however, some of your guides are very cliche, in the fact there are several (thousands of) guides on Jailbreaking iPods/iPhones, playing games (WoW, RuneScape, LoL, etc.) on an iPod/iPhone, etc.

A bit more variety would do your application some good.

I'm no official reviewer, but in this guide's current state, I'd give you a 2.7/5 stars, (1 being lowest, 5 being the highest)

Ya the jailbreaking one was good when I wrote it but now there are faster and better ways. But I am currently working on one of the most needed guides around =P
