I have a 6-8 page research paper to write for my English class when I get home. The topic? Philosophy.

Only an English professor would give a page requirement for a philosophy paper.

How do you see philosophy as a narrow topic. I'm sure you could write many more pages than that. You probably already did here on sythe.

 

Y'know.. I look at this, and I could not see how you could be complaining.

Your intelligence is so vast, and I would figure you could get 6-8 pages finished in an hour or two. I'd be shocked if you would even have to research or use any sources, for you must have a few textbooks about Philosophy already in your head.

I actually have to write a descriptive essay right now. I'm procrastinating by being on Sythe.

 

All you have to do for the 6-8 page essay is break it up into parts so basically you have one idea surrounded with shit, a second idea surrounded with shit and so on. So all you really need to do is find main ideas about your topic which most users know you are good at and pull out ideas and write shit around them.

 

Lol i got a literary analysis 8-10 pages due in 2 weeks so im also procrastinatin lawl.

Ain't it the best I should be studying for my SAT's but I haven't opened the book yet.

 

You are complaining that you need at least 6-8 pages? I would complain that I only get 6-8 pages to cover such a vast and extensive topic. I have had to write a couple papers in my junior lit class so far, and each I have gone too in depth and by the 4/5th page I knew I was screwed because I would go over. Also what pisses me off is that we HAVE to double space it and write in 12 font. I mean let me just leave it single spaced and size 8 font with 7 pages.


I also seem to do this in our standardized state tests a lot in writing and then have to go back and erase some of my best made points just because its too long and I don't have enough time to rewrite.


You shouldn't be complaining, I know you contain enough intelligence in your cranium that you can easily write a whole book on philosophy. To me it seems that you just do not care much for philosophy therefore just not wanting to put the effort into making it a great paper.
