The Book of Mormon

The field of Mormon geography is literally riddled with inaccuracies. Just because the Mormon church says something doesn't make it true, in fact, there isn't a single Mormon church leader or BYU professor that has ever gotten it right. You can find 'educated' men claiming it was South America, and then you'll find even some claiming it was ALL of North and South America.

Just because the church says something doesn't mean they actually have the evidence to even back it up. In every single instance, the church is actually wrong.

This is the closest I could ever find to something actually being legitimate.

Other models where people attempt to identify the geography are always wrong, and it's actually very easy to point out how/where they're wrong. Namely with the seas, that's one of the biggest faults. If someone creates a map, it must have a sea North, South, East and West, a narrow neck of land, the climate must match textual description, cement must be present in the land Northward and not South, the list goes on.

All of these prerequisites cannot be met by every single model of the geographical location claimed by the church or its followers.

E: One last thing, some people like to use this from D&C

Joe himself wrote that the church was under condemnation and their minds had/have been darkened, and what do you know, their church has literally never gotten it right, and they never will until they stop following Joe's teachings (D&C). Remember, the above quote is from D&C, which was written by Joe, not the BoM (which was only dictated).
