Will I fit in at 17 years old (with 1-2 friends)? I'm not a raver but love electronic music, concerts, and parties.
Also, should I go see Friday (tiesto) or Saturday (mau5)

yeah you'll fit in. ive never been to a rave in miami but i hear its a lot different. in la everyone dresses up in costumes n crazy ass shit. n i hear in miami everyone is all preppy and just stands there.

sat has deadmau5, sweedish house mafia, armin van buuren (worlds #1 trance dj), benassi, above n beyond.

idk i could go on forever. if your in to electronic dance music though youll have the best night of your life.

I'll probably end up going Friday, just because it's convenient, from 2-3PM to 1-2AM (or close). They'll also have artists like Afrojack in tents/other venues around the park.

I don't do drugs, I just drink. Not planning to do any drugs, I appreciate the music as it is/care about my brain and future.

 

First off all, I got nothing against drugs. Because as for me drugs is one's choice. And to be honest we've all past the joint once or twice. But suggesting to use xtc on a runescape forum to a 17year old, is rather lame not?

But besides that, it seems like a nice line-up. Although allot of overrated/commercial DJ's in my opinion (tiesto, david guetta, armin van buuren)

BUT I REALLY SUGGEST THAT YOU GO SEE PENDULUM! I'm not a techno/electro/rave fan whatsoever, but I've seen them perform for a couple of times now and they have always baffled me. The ambient is just fuckin' amazing mate. A bit too many topless hairy and sweaty guys that are screaming like crazy and too less hot topless chicks. But besides from that it is really an experience. I think I was nearly 16 when I first crowd surfed on "propane nightmares" and I will never forget that experience henceforth.

Another good and solid festival is the burning man festival, a bit wacky... But definitely allot of fun.

 

Ok imma hit up some of their songs. I think it's fine that he suggested a drug. At the end of the day I have to be the one who chooses what I want effecting my body, and a 17 yearold should be able to do that (IMHO)
Enabling a 17yr old is a whole different thing...
