Harry Potter 6

So I just got back from the premier. Not to fret. If you haven't read the book, I'm told by a couple friends that the movie was great. If you have read it, I would call it dissapointing almost to the level of being bad. I shant spoil it but they leave out parts that many people would go to see the movie for alone.

 

Well, i'm going on Friday night. Could you tell us, vaguely, why it was bad? Were the characters lousy? Important scenes left out?

 

I just saw it too. It was decent, but after reading the books they couldn't make a movie as good the book was just to long to be put into a movie. However it was my favorite Harry Potter movie so far.

 

Same here I thought the movie was freaking EPIC.

 

I'm going to go and watch it tonight.

Nonetheless, I hope i'm not disapointed(sp).

 

Just saw it and it was terrible, the books are immeasurably better.

You have to realize, that Hollywood has a limit. They can only put so much into a movie, atleast we get to visually see most of the book, its better than nothing.

 

You honestly have no idea how excited I am. Seeing it at 6:30.

 

If you're a fanatic of the books, you're going to have a bit of a let down.

 

I kknow how that feels, like Angels and Demons sucked ass. I wanna blaze beforehand though

i thought Dumbledore was just stupid in this one.

*MY POST CONTAINS SPOILERS*

Honestly was the biggest throwdown of my day.

First off, they had to skip more then 8 chapters alltogether, it went by so quick, for what SHOULD have been a long part, the memory scenes were horrid as well as short, and to top it all off they stated there would be quitage, it had to be like what, a five-minute scene?

They didn't even bother to show the funeral, they made it SO obvious snape was supposed to kill headmaster.

The only thing they got right with good detail was the cave scene, which in all wasn't real important.

 

So in other words should i waste my money?

 

Just been went to the 17:15pm viewing at vue cinema, if you ask me what a load of fucking shit! the ending is worthless, the film is worthless and now my money is worthless >.>

 

I'm about to watch it today. Hope it isn't diasappointing as you say.

 

Its all about opinion, it could be dissapointing for you but amazing for me but then again Harry Potter got really gay after the 3rd movie

 

Went to the premier last night. Would have LOVED more action scenes. It's a bridge to make the dark hollows the best of them all . (I know it's deathly hallows, but I like to call it dark for short .)

 

I haven't see it yet, but I really want to. Hopefully it isn't extremely horrible :d.


It is nice they are making the 7th on in two parts. Means they can fit more of the story in, which I think was a huge issue with some of the other movies.

 

Row i definatly agree with you, because the movie i watched today, was all too crammed, therefore ended really shit, no drama nothing!

 

It is the gap between the two next films. If you don't know already, people usually save the best for last .
