Better Call Saul

So, I just watched the first episode of this new series. It was alright, very broad and not detailed to really understand everything.

Also the last part of the episode really wanted me to watch the second episode ASAP but it still didn't air.

I don't think this will be like Breaking bad; but will definitely be a good and interesting watch.

 

Damn I missed it. I can google where to watch it online but does anyone know of a spot to watch it?

I enjoyed it. As always it was very well directed and fairly well written. I think the idea of kind of leaving the audience to guess really gives you that feeling of wanting to see another episode. Breaking Bad did the same thing.

 

2nd episode was very strong. This will definitely be a show I continue to follow.

 

Didn't watch the second episode yet, but I enjoyed the first one. Not the same as Breaking Bad, but honestly the show brings back a nostalgic feeling that I am uncomfortable with and need to move past. Eventually i'll forget more about BB and learn to enjoy Better Call Saul (I sound like im in a relationship with these shows wtf)

 

Only watched the first episode and I missed about half of it, so I'm going to re-watch it online. From what I watched, it was pretty good. I'll probably keep myself updated with this show.

 

I saw both episodes they were better than what I expected. You can definitely tell it's made by the same people as Breaking Bad and the show has the same quality.

OP it was broad and didn't go into detail just like breaking bad. They'll hint at things, but leave it up to the audience to figure out.

In the last season of breaking bad Saul said this

Where was he in the beginning of episode 1? It appears he was watching his old commercials and reminiscing of his past which we are watching today. You see how Tuco in his early stages. You see Saul park right beside a white cadillac in the first episode. He owned a white cadillac in breaking bad (the future). I thought Mike would simply be an old guy that wasn't really Mike in breaking bad. Episode 3 says otherwise.

This show is really well thought out, it rewards you for watching Breaking Bad. This already feels like it will turn out to be as big, if not bigger, as breaking bad if they keep this work up.

 

This show started great. Can't wait to watch more. I was definitely NOT expecting anything.

 

I'm glad that someone creating a post about Better Call Saul. My buddy has been a Breaking Bad freak forever and actually Walt Jr is coming to my campus to speak about acting with disabilities. I am excited to see him in action. Back to the point... I have seen a few episodes of Breaking Bad and it was amazing.. only if I paid for Netflix... I would have to binge watch that bad boy for hours... However.. Better Call Saul is a prequel to BB and it is sort of slow but from what I've seen, things tie in pretty well. I love the writers and the directors ability to flash from many scenes which keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire show. I am excited for Monday nights just to study the episodes.. Great show, hope everyone else enjoys it as well!

 

I keep hearing rumors that they may bring the BB cast into it somehow, like the story will eventually lead up to the ending of BB.

 

Those aren't rumors, it's true. The show is going to serves as both a prequel and a follow up.

 

This, after watching the the 2nd and 3rd episode I've definitely became attached. Can't wait for the follow up

 

I've downloaded the first 3 episodes but haven't had the opportunity to watch them yet, been catching up on Gotham, Flash, and Arrow as I've fallen a few episodes behind on all of them. After reading through this thread, I'm really looking forward to starting this series.

 

I didn't know this existed. I was late on the breaking bad bandwagon, I've literally watched season 1 - 3 in a single day. Its so much better than I expected it to be.

I'll definitely download episodes from this prequel once I inevitably finish.

 

I just watched episode 4, it's getting better and better IMO.

 

Probably will marathon this show after the first season is over, I am too impatient to wait a week for a new episode.

 

The third episode was pretty sick.

I love how he partners up and sets up these small intricate cons to trick people into believing anything. I can see how Saul got his wealth in Breaking Bad...
