Questions on botting and gold buying

Hi all - back from over a 2 year hiatus. Just a quick question on how risky it is to buy gold and bot with the new botwatch system etc.

If I were to bot 99 construction or something discrete will I probably get caught?

    Thanks.

    Also:

If I want to get back into slayer and I'm maxed except 70 defence what should be my go to armor?
Any other suggestions for getting used to the combat system? Is it okay if I just use legacy mode?

Don't bot, extremely high ban rates.

As for buying gold - slim risk.

    Slayer- Bandos will be good.

This. Only thing to add really is if you buy under 300m, its like no risk at all. But for 300m+ you may wanna use a mule or stake it.

Botting is always risky, but as someone already said, buying gold has less risk. It seems more like a gift from a friend. But when you get in the higher trades is riskier.

Unless you're buying 5bil+ I wouldn't worry about a gold buying ban just try to source the gold from legitimate players rather than hackers/botters.

Questions on botting and gold buying

    1. Botting on runescape 3 isn't really a good idea man, I've heard more stories of people getting their first main ever banned because they decided to bot divination for 2 hours the night before.

    2. Gold buying isn't that high of a risk, jagex generally bans the seller over the buyer because they are usually the member making profit off of their game, not someone who is going to buy the things they want, and keep paying for membership. If you are buying less than 1b per trade I wouldn't be surprised if you were left untouched by jagex. Just use common sense. :)

    3. As for your question about which combat mode to use, legacy is great for things like afk-ing and minimal effort. You will however suffer a bit of an xp penalty for using it though. The Evolution of cimbat mode involves abilities and is generally faster and better xp rates per hour. There is however a mode on EoC called "revolution" which automatically uses the basic abilities on your action bar. I feel it takes the good aspects of both modes and merges them into one. You get the helpful action bar for quick adjustments and actions on-the-fly, while still having the laid back and relaxed feeling of legacy combat.

    Hope I helped :)
