    I suggest you wait until the dust settles first. ETH is in at a serious crossroads with the DAO failing with almost 15% of all the Ethers (causing the chain to fork after an emotion-filled debate with the community), as well as the ETC chain rising after hardliners of the original vision of Ethereum essentially revolting by reallocating hashrate to the Classic chain.

    The technology behind smart contracts is potentially revolutionary, but the image is tarnished due to the developers oping to bail out a bad investment (DAO), when Ethereum was touted as a chain that cannot be censored, is immutable, and irreversible. All that was thrown out the window with the DAO debacle. The developers showed that they can alter the chain. Remove information. Blacklist addresses. Thus, major loss of confidence.
