Free Trade? Good old days? - Grand Exchange? PK?

Ahh. If you're an old RuneScape player before the trade limit was set (2007 Dec), then you'll remember the good old days, where most players were legit.

Imo, I don't like the Grand Exchange, I like the good old merchanting where the players set the price themselves, instead of the market price.

Jagex is going to let you buy anything from the G.E. at any price, and imo this is stupid, there is still going to be a market price but no higher/lower price.

Grand Exchange & Free trade don't come together, so I don't think G.E. should still be there, and it ruins the old trading - where everyone traded behind Varrock West bank, and where people sold bones in the west, lobsters in the east bank, and where rares costs a good price.

It's complete idiocy. It should be removed - it just automatises what happened in the good old days. I remember buying raw lobs for 295gp ea at fally w2, cooking em and selling them for 300gp at varrock w1. The good days were when you could make a profit off anything as long as you had a method.

 

well, at one point in time there was still the grand exchange and free trade just right before the big update
I played at that time but i don't remember how the system worked that affected it the prices

People have gotten too used to the g.e because it's easier so im sure we'll find a way to adapt.

 

GE becomes an auction house- its not so bad it just means instead of w2 we use the ge put our offers in and wait if anyones selling for that price well get the item.

 

i think this is an amazing idea rs is becoming more like wow every day and i do remember the old rs from before the update but back then i was a noob like level 40 lol good old times

 

I'm really hoping that this will actually come back. I ended up quitting runescape after that and unfortunately forgot all my info to my accounts. Ah well I've already voted for at least 10 accounts.

 

I wouldn't mind the GE tbh.

People will just trade when they're on say at fally square then, when there going off put an offer in the GE.

 

Its confirmed, if free trade comes back the grand exchange will REMAIN in the game.
