Quick cheat sheet to climb ranked from iron to gold.

This is going to take you time if you're new to league but you'll learn.

From Iron to Bronze:

Play 2 roles and learn to play max 6 champions. At this rank, you should easily be able to carry a 1v5 if you learn the mechanics of a champion and focus on getting kills/assists. The biggest problem Iron players have is that they don't know the game or how to play their champion in an efficient way.

From Bronze to Silver:

Focus on objectives and push your lane non stop, even after you take out the 1st tier tower. Pushing gives less opportunity for the enemies to team fight and you learn how to CS. On top of that, you need to knoow what type of damage each champion deals as well as how to counter it with items. If you're a jungler - learn the timers of each jungle camp so that you are efficient as possible with your ganks and XP. The biggest problem that bronze players have is that they are too focused on getting kills and lack pushing potential.

From Silver to Gold:

This is where the game starts to become more team-like because each player is minimally decent at the game. Vision, CS and preventing the enemy team from taking objectives is going to be crucial. If you're a jungler, learn how to track the enemy jungler through fog of war and be ready to counter jungle. The biggest problem with silvers is not enough map control.

Video is actually quite helpful , I hit plat 5 , 2 seasons ago and still don’t know anything about wave management lol like I’d just shove lane to turret every time I wanted to back lol , I still don’t know about the whole “my lane is shoving or getting shoved” part tbh . Wonder if there’s a overlay you can add to league like a 3rd party one that just gives you information like waves , baron/drag timers without having to bring up score page , and when you should be last hitting minions. But like it wouldn’t actually interact with the game itself so therefore not ban worthy

 

Sorry if this thread is dead, but I was wondering how exactly you track the enemy jungler? is it mainly just anticipating their moves and paying attention where they gank?

 

Wards. Camp spawn timing. How enemies are positioned and playing.

 

Generally the first clear and 2nd clear can be timed easily.
>Find out where they start, consciously be aware of what camp they will be up to
>Scuttle spawns at 3.15 they should have done all their camps or all except one by this point.
>Respawn timers are at 2 min 30 for camps.
>For later in the game just keep an eye on the mini map and for pings
>Position deep wards in river / enemy jungle to keep track.
