    Learning Java Through Rsps
    Would it be beneficial too attempt at coding a Runescape Private Server as a beginner of Java, just to experiment?

    Learning Java Through Rsps
    It would be beneficial if you decide to take the hard road and learn based off a source that was programmed 'right'. Such as Hyperion or something released by good programmers such as Graham (developer of Hyperion).

    The problem with learning Java through RSPS is the temptation to take shortcuts and use sources such as PI (Project Insanity) which have almost everything done for you.
