WOOHOO, about time. Welldone RID. Time to bot

Nah thats because they-re have been a lot of complaints against jagex making peoples computers take up too much CPU usage. In the rants section, there is very old thread owned by "Im snuggles" and hes been complaining about how before the new updates came out his runescape used to work fine, now he cant play properly because the CPU usage is always above 80%. He contacted the mod and the mod said to him that hes been talking with his colleagues and they are going to get peoples spec so their future updates will be less heavy processing wise. Read the thread if your interested in it. If you pm me or something, ill find the thread for you guys.

Im still going to wait untill my ps3 and gta4 arrive in the post some time this week, I will only run the bot when im playing on it. (just to be safe)

I supose once you have finished fine tuneing the bot you will set your eyes on the PC bot, I cant wait for that? is it likely to be the same price as the MTA bot?

 

RID, I know people keep asking, but are you planning to add a forum and if so when?

 

Hey guys. when i dowload the bot i get this... ANy help? im on a mac and i have java preinstalled and when i went to see if there were any updates there was like 36 things i could download on java's website. Any ideas? or someone could email it 2 me decompiled.

You need to download a rar extractor for the mac: http://www.unrarx.com/
That one is free, and will do the job. At the moment you are seeing the files in their compressed form, you need to extract them first, then you will be able to access the files and get started.

 

I have been talking to the bot for 1 hour and the responses i got were "hi".. "who cares"..."lolz"...


I dont think its still safe to use the bot, it doesnt reply properly. RID, i was on kingz range.

Thanks for taking the time to talk to it. The talker is still in it's early stages, but what made it vulnerable before was that Jagex were able to obtain the code for it's replies, however this cannot happen again now that it's all handled by the server. The bot will generally ignore people, unless it knows it's not interrupting a conversation, and understands what's being said, but it's a lot better than being afk, right? Lol I had a look through the records, it will deliberately ignore on occasions too like if it's already said hi it probably won't say hi again, it does this to avoid repetition and the average J-Mod won't talk to it the way you did lol.
I'll be working on it a lot this week though. Part of the reason it's been hard to write is people hardly ever talk in there, and it's been hard to get an idea of what's required, but now I have all the comments the bot receives from all people using it, I'll be able to write some really good code. I do think it's good enough to confuse Jagex at the moment but with room for improvement, in short it's not perfect yet but you are safer with it, than without.

Yeah I've just been doing alchemy too, I've got to agree it's pretty slick now, much faster and more efficient than V1 or V2 not to mention safer.
I want to improve on telekinetic though over the next few days.

 

i hope i caught u at a good time, i bought this bot about a day before the update was going to be happening so i didnt have time to make sure i had it and when i try to log on, it says im out of hours and on paypal it says cleared so are u susposed to send me the bot?

 

Maybe your e-cheque cleared while the RID server was offline. Send customer support a mail saying the paypal e-mail and payment details and the date it cleared then I'll put you into the database.

tht doesnt tell me anything..when i click 'start'. all i get is the mouse clicking hte bottom right hand corner, then stopping olny to log out of 'sleep'..where should i start at..? how do you get it to do its job correctly?

 

i always click start as soon as i enter the rooms?
works fine for me - i agree with alchemist - alot slower than v2.. yet to try the other rooms
