    Im in need of advice
Currently im playing the game: Runescape
tbh i actually hate the game and it bores me to death but i just cant seem to stop playing it and I want to so badly, because ive started to spend a lot of irl money on it aswell :S
But I feel if I quit ill even more bored then now, idk what id do in all my spair time
my friends play xbox/ps3 so its not much different i guess to just sitting down and playing rs anyways, I dont have xbox of ps3 either
So what I want to know is
What should I do? How do I get unaddicted to this game? Or what can I do in my spare time?

If you enjoy playing this game then continue playing. Using money on games isn't really a problem as we all pay for fun. If you were to have an Xbox or PS3, you would have to pay for it as well. Besides, you have spare time to kill.. why not play and enjoy yourself?

RS2 is really hard to quit mate. I spent a solid year trying to quit. Just try and get involved in irl activities. Give your account away. Trust me, in the long run you'll be glad you did it. Join a school club, pick up a sport. Try a new language. Just switch your focus onto something equally entertaining (or almost as entertaining) RS2 is so addictive, because there is always more things to do. Just find another activity with lots of room to develop with

Then, your only solution is to kill your payment method. If you use PayPal to pay, close it down. This way, you won't have the same urge to buy.

I Know exactly how you feel man
ive been playin rs since i was 8, Was so addicted
i wouldnt even leave the house except for school.

But then about an year ago i started botting and it left me alot of spare time to chill with my buddies and try more things like lacrosse or Working out.
Tbh i havent even actually played legit for 2 months. The only time im in contact with runescape is when i turn the bots on and when i turn them off.
Now i wouldint suggest botting but just Try new things you never know what you might like.

As for money think about the many other things you could be spending it on.
Cause in the end. Pixels are just Pixels.

You could always just sell your account.
Most computers have a way to block certain passwords, get 1 of your trusted real life friends or your parents to block the site and make sure they set the password to something you'll never get.
That will not only make you cash from your account, but it will stop you playing.

If you get bored just ring your mates and see if they want a game of football or what ever you do. I know you don't want to get an 360 or ps3 but if you do you'll be in contact with your real life friends when you add them, so you can ask them to go out through that.

Get a Real life hobby, to slowly move away from it.

I think RS is addictive because of the goal aspect, seeing your account improve.

E.G another 99 skill or another rare.

Maybe set goals like this in your life.

E.G working out, achieving 100 push ups without stopping, achieving a 6 pack?

Or even a milestone in your bank, hitting $1,000, $5,000, or $10,000

Thats how I did it anyways :)

Didn't read any posts so sorry if this is a re-post.

Try picking up a new hobby. Sports maybe? Play basketball, tennis, football, etc everyday or every other day. That will take your mind off the computer.
