Temp botting ban?

I've been pretty much suicide botting on my main account on 2007rs. today i went to log my bot back on and it lagged me out. I tried to log back in and then my account was disabled.

I checked my account details and saw this.. I haven't heard of temp bans recently..did i just get really lucky?

think this has anything to do with age/how clean my account was? I've had this account since 04 and no offenses on it, would that make a difference?

 

No it doesn't make a difference but you were banned for botting you're lucky it wasn't a permanent ban.

 

its not the age. i made an account a week ago and after 30 minutes of using OSBot, got a 2 day ban

 

Temp bans are actually pretty common.
Normal flow of things is
1st Ban: 2 day
2nd Ban: Perm

 

How long were you botting a day?

 

oh you know.. last week had a 36hr proggie for a combat script.. been using a lot of different scripts. stopped for a few days went to botting lobbies at catherby i did 18hrs last night woke up this morning and was banned. I'd say average 16-18hrs a day. (i know its not smart to be using lots of scripts for long hours but YOLO)

To be honest I've been botting since 07/08 and never had a botting ban, I'm surprised i made it this far.

 

also got a 2 day ban yesterday, was a botbusting event i guess, same as you

was using tribot's master thiever (paid bot)
still have all my money/ items, no reset there

 

They usually ban a lot of users at the same time.

I lost my main and noob in a mass ban. Sucked

 

They are cracking down on bots atm.

Both me and my friend recieved a 2 day ban a few days ago. Wierdly enough they banned the account i had just made 14 hours before instead of my main i bot on 20 hours a day. Gj jagex. Lol

 

i had 2 accounts banned 3 days ago, logged in today and got dced on my other 4 accounts, they all got perm bans for goldfarming.

Apart from my main that had a 2 day ban. jagex are on the ball tbh

 

Thats because jagex mods are watching you bot its called bot busting they observe you botting and ban you.
