    What is the best free/paid antivirus? I currently have Norton Ghost as my paid, and Avast as my free. Looking to spend no more than $80 a month on antivirus software.

    Norton ghost is backup software, not antivirus. Kaspersky is the best IMO

    Norton is terrible, it's not even in the top 10 Antivirus anymore. Go for Kaspersky, that is the best.

    For Free, try McAfee. Its not bad for a free anti virus.

    If you want Antivirus you could always try AVG, I'm not saying it's the best 'cos i've never used anything else, but I've used it for over 5 years and never had any problems virus wise. ^_^

    PS - They have free and paid versions.
