i suspect some illegal activity here, as prepaid cards are at the center of fraud to make money..

It's not that, it's the face he's selling 5000$ balances for 500$ doesn't that seem wierd, and the fact that he used ICQ, and Yahoo indicates that he's from a hacking background as most of them use them instant messaging clients, but maybe it could be a coinsidance.
