Tayler Swift Signature[s]

This is my second signature in photoshop, and I'm pretty proud of myself for making these. They are all the same, but one is black and white, one is dark, etc. C&C!

This is also my first time working with stocks! (I covered up most of the stock photo).

I tried to make it flow by smuding in the same direction.

I'm going to follow a tutorial on text and redo the text on it.

Please tell me what I could improve on .

EDIT: I misspelled Taylor Swift. I put a [e] instead of [o] in taylor.

 

The text in it ruins the theme of it completely. And the thing on the left (I suprisingly forgot what it was called) It distracts me from the focal completely. And the stock is unusually big.

For your second signature this is very good, don't get discouraged about the text, ideal text placement is difficult and will come with practice. Read more tutorials about how to add depth and try to learn what you can from them.

 

I have to say, I like the first one the most not bad overall

 

What should I do about text ? I thought the lens flare would actually make it better. Should I just lower the opacity of it? I'll try to get a smaller stock next time. Thanks for posting .

For the text, experiment with smudging, clipping, and colour combinations, as well as styles.

The first signature is alright, but keep the colour scheme pink/orange, and take the blue at the bottom out. increase the flow with c4ds/effects, and lessen the green (in curves or levels or w/e).

 

Hey.. You need to work on your text a bit more, maybe use a sans serif font and play with the settings a bit.

 

Yeah the blue is the c4d I put in. In my new signature, I tried to make it flow by smudging. I'll keep the curves in mind.
Edit: Which one are you talking about? The new one?

Yeah okay. In my new one, I think I did a better job with fonts.
