Account recovered/locked

I purchased a 60 attack piety pure from @Mattyyy also known as (Scooby#6307 on discord) for 260m OSRS GP roughly over a month and half ago.

The initial transaction was smooth and there were no issues following it. I had the account email changed to my personal one, changed the password, added an authentication on the account, and a bank pin.

However, 2 days ago, I received multiple emails requesting a password change. I took measures to secure the account (changed the password to a new one, made sure the authentication was still on, transferred the valuables off the account, etc.) Today, I went to login into the account, and it was locked. Upon further investigation to unlock the account, the link to unlock the account is sending to an unknown email (that I have no access to) that was never linked to the account.

I contacted Mattyyy and explained the situation. He claims that he is going to try and recover the account - but is unsure of past account information as it is an "old account". I have devoted a lot of effort into the account. I purchased it rigour, and completed DS2 (from 187 QP).

I have purchased 4 accounts on Scythe over the last 6 months. Of these 4 accounts, I have had no issues with the accounts being recovered, until now.

I am unsure exactly what the process is about recovering the account will be. However, I will note the seller has told me he is going to try to recover the account within the next day - which has yet to be done (I originally typed this thread Wednesday and did not post it until now) .

I am simply creating this thread to protect myself or others who could potentially be scammed in the near future.
