Ipod help me please ?

alright i have a 30 gig ipod 5th gen video.

i formated it about 4 months ago to fat but it didnt seem to effect it.

then i started using itunes and ejecting it (usually after syncing i would just pull it off) then soon as i started doing that it started to fuck up and the computer wont detect it or anything (yes ive bought a new cable).

could it because i owe money to itunes? i mean ill pay it i just want to know if thats the reason why because it never did anything before previously when i did.

i havent tried it on another computer yet but i could probley do that if needed.

and im pretty sure the firewire ports/usb ports are working fine

i also tried the disc mode thing were you put it into disc and reset it why'll connect didnt work either.

any ideas on what could be going on?
