David493's Infraction Dispute

I have received an infraction for backseat modding, and my dispute follows this short preface, I am trying to make this look as professional as possible.

As you all know, it is against the rules to advertise the selling of real life items on sythe, which is what this poster was doing. Now at the time (1 hour ago) I did not have a clear idea of what backseat modding was, for I have not received an infraction for it until just now. The post violated a rule, and as you can see from the poster, he only has one post, and probably just registered within the last 10 hours. He obviously has no regard to the rules, for he has broken them. He surely took time to prepare his thread, which would be a shame to have it locked without an explanation. I posted on his thread stating that "Real life sales were not allowed."


Now I know I have done something wrong, but I did not have a clear idea what the term "backseat modding" was. I know I did something wrong and I should get punished, but if out of good will, you can relieve me of my infraction, I would greatly appreciate it for as I said earlier, I didn't know what I was doing was "backseat modding"
