Sythe's Backup Site

Maybe I was wondering if Sythe could have a backup site but with all the posts on the normal one, I know that will be hard to code but It's worth a try. And this suggestion I was meaning like, When Sythe gets DDos'ed It goes down for hours and it's hard to post anything.

This would create the need for double the servers (which blow to begin with).

It would also need some sort of automated system to auto-post everything to the other site, or from the other site here (depending on where you post it to begin with.)

It will be VERY server-intensive and need a totally different server. Because once this one is down, there would have to be a second.

All of it means more time, more money, and more hard work.

The first two of which we DO NOT have and the latter we already put in alot.

 

I don't think this would work. The reason why Sythe goes down is because it gets ddos'ed. If something like this were up, it would just get taken down too.

Not to mention the cost of running 2 servers.

The thread maker needs to go look for server costs, vB costs, etc.

Hope he has fun... And it would be a waste overall!

 

No support from me. It would take too much money. I'm sure Sythe is not willing to buy another server.
