Dead Island Riptide

Any one else here planning on getting it?? I really enjoyed the first one and can't wait for this to come out next month. check the video below for the first 2o minutes of game play.

should be a pretty fun game and the regular special edition is only $49.99 so its not too bad.

 

Dead Island 1 just felt too errand boy for me...never got very far in it at all. Probably won't be getting this unless I re-visit Dead Island and find a different reaction to it. I was unimpressed with it at first playthrough.

 

ya i felt the same way too but after a while of making all different kinds of weapons with different mods i was hooked!

 

Pretty much this. Got the game about 1~2 months ago and couldn't really get into it. Played co-op online and EVERY mission was basically:

"go here, kill zombies along the way, do this, come back to me and get reward"

Was VERY linear in my personal opinion and I also disliked how hard it was to get bullets. Stamina could've been regenerated faster, even with upgrades swinging your weapon took off a lot of stamina.

 

Looks good but like others have said the first one was pretty repetitive.

so i am pretty undecided.

 

I'd just get the first one and try it, I'm sure it's dirt cheap now to get. I saw it on sale on the dash for like 10 bucks a few weeks ago..probably is only 20 max I'd guess.

 

^this is a great idea if you are ever skeptical about a game or anything just go rent it. I can't wait for dead island riptide i love all zombie games.

 

dead island wasn't that fun for me, borderlands 2 is where it's at guys

 

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get Riptide actually, I was trying to compile a summer list of games to play and my list was quite short.

 

Awesome! once the game comes out we can use this thread for like a review of the game. If anyone is still on the fence about it it is only $49.99 or you could just rent it but i am a sucker for zombie games so i am getting it for sure.

 

Looks aii, first one was full of bugs and shit, and got pretty boring far down the game :/ , they better fix that stuff this time around.

 

Pre-ordered it. Looking forward to adding it to the summer game list.

 

i will have to say.. This game fucking blows. Was highly disappointing. just happy i found someone to buy it for $45 on craigslist.
