Sythe wants us to settle the miniranks issue

I went for Option 3. I'd like to see the Community based ones in the community, and the spam based ones in the spam forum.

1 and 2 and I was on the fence about 4. I guess that'd be a compromise.

Really though, if anyone thinks it's a sign of trust or anything... well nevermind. I don't believe in holding everyone's hands. If you think that because someone has a 32 bit mushroom or a hippo makes them trusted...

Option one is the best.

 

I do have signatures blocked, those are easy to block. I have no idea how to block miniranks, I'm not against miniranks and if that's what everyone is thinking, I love miniranks I think they're cute and fun to gain, but I'm saying people SHOULD be allowed to disable things they don't wish to see. I wasn't aware they didn't cause lag because a few times while loading a page they take time to load.

Mini ranks are for FUN. They mean absolutely nothing, I really don't know why people are bitching....

 

If people don't want to see mini-ranks, use classic like I do.

Option 1, I don't see why they should have a reason to be disabled. If people really don't want to see them, then option 2.

 

Get ad blocker, and block the image of the miniranks that lag/offend you. I'm personally all for letting people disable them. It'll just be an easily coded div that people can hide, but there are other ways to do it by yourself.

What if I'm still on IE 6? Then i can't get an ad blocker. It should be a box inside the ucp to hide/show them tbh.

Option 3, community in the community and others in spam forum. I really don't think them being plastered all over the market gives the newcomers much thought towards them other than they must be trusted, when really they could have whored a ton via trading/purchasing etc, and then use them to scam. #1 surely is stupid as fuck.
