Selling pins rule...

I don't wanna use stupid but really the rule for not selling pins is kinda pointless. Most of the time, you are buying a pin. There are a lot of game card threads, but really the trusted and 'unlimited' sellers aren't gonna run out to target or gamestop to get cards everyday. Most of the time when they give you the code it's a pin. If we buy/sell pins, what's the point of us not being able to say it in the thread? I'm not saying remove the rule, but consider it. Just because we can't use it in the thread, we still use it in msn.

 

The reason you cannot sell pins on sythe.org is because the owner, Sythe, may get in trouble with the law. Just call them account upgrades.

 

How do you get in trouble with the law? I'm not quite sure what you mean.. like RWT?

 

A lot of "pins" are obtained illegally. I'm not going to go into how they are obtained; but it's illegal. Pretty sure that Sythe could get in trouble for housing illegal pin sellers.

For the record, calling them "account upgrades" is not enough. You may not trade the PIN at all using Sythe. All we allow is the service of upgrading someone's account.

 

You can't sell pins directly to someone if you want to use a pin to upgrade an account you have to do it yourself, and for your earlier question a pin is obtained illegally mostly by a pin line which is stealing

Quick Question: But can't the Upgraders just use illegal pins when they upgrade your acc.

 

That's why it's called an upgrade service; so that the method of application and legal status are at the seller's discretion, and Sythe stays out of trouble.

 

yeah this is the exact thing. as long as Sythe is only involved with the people finding eachother to do the updgrade service it doesnt matter how the upgrader chooses to do it.
