You can get a better PC if you make a custom build, but if you're not into that stuff, yeah, it's pretty good but not really worth the money IMO. An exception can be made if you're gonna use it for work, etc.

Then get something that has a long battery life span and decent enough hardware, 'cause honestly, there's no point buying a gaming laptop if you're just gonna surf the internet.

What kind of games do you like playing? If your into first-person shooters or something like starcraft II, then you should get a gaming laptop. However if you play a game like runescape most of the time, you should just get a cheaper mid range laptop, Runescape HD should run on most of them.

That sounds about like my laptop, which I use for a wide range of things/games and works fine. But if you're not going to play things like SC2 (as mentioned), you shouldn't overdo it.

It's pretty good, but not worth all that money.

Giving us a Laptop model and good specs of the system is a good idea... Seriously, my integrated intel graphics card on my Laptop is 1.5GB, but it can't even play Half Life 1. Give us resolution of the screen and not just the screen size, my Laptop is 14" and can run 1366 X 768. Also maybe a link to the Laptop is a good idea too...?

He means an i7 clocked at 1.6GHz.

I think it's quite obvious that I wasn't talking about laptops. Most people think that a gaming laptop is better because it's compact. Desktop PCs cost less, and are much faster, customizable, etc.

Should be decent for gaming, but not the best.

The best computers for gaming other than handmade are desktops, my favorite being Alienware, which is what I currently use, other than the Acer I'm using now.
