Sythe.org MMORPG?

It sounds like a good idea, don't know if it will catch on.

not much going on in the forum devoted to this.
how's this goona happen, some sythe members will decide to give their time to code this game? Perhaps they'll gain mod/admin on all of their created accounts?
None of the ideas are "completed" in the Sythe MMORPG forums.

 

No one is gonna get admin for being a good coder.

 

I think it would be nice if Sythe made a 544 RSPS.

This shouldbedone still considering runescape is so populated because its pretty much the only game of its type.Whatimean is register login play. simple as and you have the whole world area to play on no bullshit downloading tons of crap no installing loads no serial codes bla bla bla. It is pretty much the only java based game like it is i really dont see others apart from ones needed on disks. Then again you could just create your own private rs server for sythe users and edit oin things you want and all that and maybe that could work but.
Economic wise: Maybe jobs? Daily pay? Fighting monsters for gold/items? Maybe betting games like an ingame casino? Betting on fights?
Fighting Wise? Monsters? Machines? Maybe buildings?
Strategy parts to it? Maybe after time have 2 characters you can simaltanieously control? Maybe 3/4 Could work out well.
Player v Player? Player v Computer? Has to be bought into any game really. Proper clans? Such as maybe clan buildings? HQ? Could lead to a minigame? Buy your own fort defences/protection. Peace status? When you control 2 or more buildings a war could go on for a week maybe winner takes others fort as an option in rules?
Doing levels? This is the awkward part. Drift away from RS skills kinda but keep stuff like fishing and woodcutting for general money making ideas.
Chat for the area your in/Global chats/trade chats? Items that allow you to talk in a global chat? how will the money system work? maybe... 10k a monster drop kinda thing. Items cost more but ya know general ideas.

Strategy are my favorite types of games. Also economic following that. Thats a great idea, but where will you get all the scriptwriters?

Are they still thinking about making this game? It sounds quite intriguing. I don't think it should be exactly like Runescape, that would just make it another private server. If they still need ideas for this, I might be able to come up with some .
