Can my Laptop run MC?

Ok, I will list my pc specs below, please tell me, if you know, what frame rate it will run at and if I can play it without too much lag.

Available Virtual Memory: 2.79 GB
Graphics Card: Integrated Media Accelerator (I think)

 

Don't expect to max it, in fact you are probably going to have to knock some setting down quite a bit. You can never really expect much from integrated graphics to be honest.

 

As stated above ^ don't expect to have the best settings... I have a similar machine and I run everything nearly as low as can be so that the game play is smoother and less laggy.

 

I have played the classic free version on the lowest settings possible, and it doesn't run too well, but I was thinking that the actual minecraft has a whole lot more settings for me to mess with so I might be able to change them around a bit?

 

You can download it which does significantly increase its performance but with it being the newer version the graphics even on the lowest are a bit better than the older one. But I think it should work if you have everything on lowest.

 

You think? No offence, I want a definite yes or no, I don't exactly want to spend my cash then find out im screwed so hard cos my laptop can't run it.

 

I'm pretty certain you can run MC on the lowest settings for that, that laptop does seem quite old though. Remember desktops are better for gaming than laptops. You don't need a super high spec gaming machine to run MC, but you still need something decent to run it.
