Why did you join Sythe?

 

It's great that sythe can be this big and I love to be a part of it.

I initially joined sythe for the marketplace and now, I have slowly shifted my attention to the content in the many other forums.

 

Haha wow, that's pretty cool. Sythe seems smaller to me now than it did originally, but we go through a post a second in the RuneScape Markets it seems, and I'm only really online when most of the world is asleep (Being Australian) so I may be underestimating.

Also, what exactly is it that determines this? Hits per day? Members? Threads/Posts?

Probably the Market, community seems to have 'shrunk' a bit over the years.

 

This. We've probably been better off in the rankings before, in the 100's before. Specially seeing on Google Trend we're on a 6 year low.

 

I love Sythe because it's just like America. You can come in and have an opportunity to be successful!

 

Gaia Online is, and it easily blows away all the competition. 4Chan is #2 lol.

 

How much members/activity Gaia online has?

 

It was bigger years ago.

That's a great fact, actually. I didn't realise we were quite so big - the userbase may be bigger, but I feel like the active community is smaller than it used to be.

Yeah that's definitely true. I wish sythe were more active honestly. As with what Brendan said however, it may be subjective to our Australasian timezones.

 

I used to be a member of gaia. My shit that I HAD is now worth like $2k USD.

Wow, Pbnation is 17th. Well I suppose I can see how it's that big.

I think we could easily jump up, we just need to draw in other game markets.

That seems accurate I left right after the peak and it seems less busy than it was back then, not the market so much as everywhere else.

 

Oh, that's disappointing. I'd love to see the community get as active as it was back then, but it seems Sythe relies on RuneScape too much and that seems to only be going downhill.
