Broken Bones/Ligaments/Etc

over the last few years, ive been getting injured constantly. from splitting my head open, to my leg brace, my groin pulls, sprained ankles, and even getting my teeth knocked out.

now ive had a cast on my hand for the last few days because i broke my thumb in 3 places playing basketball.

anyone got any stories to share? id love to hear them.

 

I had the worst luck in my family.

- I broke my wrist rollerblading, was skatin down a hill, there was a ditch, I fell, and used my wrist to support the fall.
- I skint my leg on the pavement. I was on one of those metal push scooters, and I let the handle bars down all the way, and I was in a squatting position while riding. I leaned the the left alittle, and my leg was just sknting down the road for atleast 4 seconds. When it got done, it was bleeding, and the skin was basically all the way off.
- I busted my head open
- This was my fault tbh, in 4th grade I had put scissors in my mouth to kind of "cut" my tongue. I did, and the cut was from the tip down the middle, around 1cm long. Bled very much.

 

I broke my foot last year when I was playing basketball. I swatted this kid so hard, he had to be taken out of the game ( I don't know what I injured on him, but he was holding his arm region). I broke my foot, and had to go to the emergency room and be on crutches for like 3 weeks.

 

I've broken my head when my brother was coming at me like a retard on his bike so I swerved out of the way and hit bricks.

- I broke my face when I trippe down stairs without holding railing.

- I broke my head while playing on a sofa with metal or something under the cusions. I don't remember much I was less than 5.

-i never broke a bone or leg, and I only sprained an ankle once in a mini-contest to see who could run up the hill in one try. It was this steep rocky shit and I landed with my foot sideways

 

During my freshman year of highschool, i was in gym. We were playing volleyball and a ball was hit up in the bleachers. I climbed up them and got it, and since it wasn't that high up (only like..10 feet probably) i jumped off. I landed on my foot wrong. I started walking to the office because i couldn't feel my foot at all. As soon as i got to the office, i collapsed because it finally hit me that it hurt..haha. Ended up with a broken ankle.

 

Playing Basketball last year, I went up for a rebound, came down on my foot wrong and heard a loud pop. Was extremely painful, turns out I tore a ligament in my ankle.

 

I've been pretty lucky with injuries even though I go to the gym a lot and play basketball a lot. Worst thing that happened was when I broke my left hand falling from my bed when I was little:huh: Other than that most of my "injuries" have usually lasted less than 2-3 days.

 

When I was about five years old I had a t-ball set where the ball was connected to a string and you could hit and it would come back. My sister was playing with it and as I was walking out the screen door she hit me in the face with the bat, rushed to the hospital, a few stitches.

I've had my fingers smashed in car doors, one time my thumb got stuck in between the door and the side wall, didn't hurt until about five seconds in and the pressure was immense. Another time I was getting out of a car and put my hand on the passenger door beam where the door opens and closes (door was open) and the passenger closed the door as my hand was on the beam, to be honest I have no idea how my fingers werent broken.

 

Never broken a single bone. Well, unless you count a tooth as a bone. But that's it.

 

Bleh I kicked this kid once and he blocked it with his knee.. My shin was in pain for sooooooooooooooooooooooo long.

I've retired from any form of violence because it's just not worth it. Pacifism ftw.
