About the flaming in defaming in sellers threads...

We all know that sellers are very affected by the way people think about them (this is called reputation). I have noticed that there are persons on this forum who register or use old inactive accounts to defame various sellers by accusing them with things they have never done. The most popular is "this sellers is a scammer" or "not trustworthy" or so on...

I wanted to know if it would be possible to add one more rule "Prove or it never happened" and if NOT proved - delete the trash. Why should my sales go down if a person just shouts and gives like 0 proofs ? If I haven't even talked to him? If I dont know him and if he just has an intention to affect my sales?

 

I support this. If a person accuses someone of scamming then they should supply evidence of what happened. I have just settled my first deal, which I told the guy to take screenies of, and it worked beautifully, no scam was committed.

If someone posts saying someone else is a scammer then they should have screenies/video of it, and if nothing is shown they should be infracted. That is just my thoughts on the subject.

 

If they accuse without proof, report them and they will be infracted.
