Feedback Thread

Again , Another suggestion...

I don't know about you guys but personally I have noticed alot of feedback threads relating to how well our mods are doing.

Yes , our mods are striving. Doing there JOB.

Now , im not a person to take away credit - I beleive give credit where its due....

Which leads me to my suggestion

REMOVE POST COUNT IN FEED BACK THREAD.

There is a build up of "Non Spam" "Spam" posts relating to Mods doing there job , and giving feedback for the mods and what not

Examples of "Spam" Posts.

--> Nice Job , Keep it up.
--> Good Job
--> Awesome work
--> Wow, Nice

Etc...

You could call it , Riding there d*cks.

Possibly Make a Thread for Each Mod , And sticky that. Which saves people spamming multiple threads and making multiple threads to give mods feedback.

Making a sticky is retarded for each mod. It's not 'riding dicks' if you praise a mod for something they've done in the community.

 

Disagree. Complimenting mods for good things they've done is not riding their dicks. It is not sucking up, unless you do it excessively. And making a sticky for each mod is just going to make it more complicated.

 

Ironic.

And, let's say Mod A has like 300 compliments and Mod B has like 0 compliments, but they do behind the work stuff. Now that's not fair, is it?

 

Well , Atleast make it so you can't get post count in feedback thread , Because if you troll through the threads - you will see its the same old same old gain post count...

 

I doubt anyone really goes through all the feedback threads and posts things like, "Good job" or "Nice." for every post.

It's just unnecessary.

 

I've seen quite a few recently. And its the same people.

However , some of the posts like -"Nice , Good job" isn't considered spam - But IMO , Thats Kind of spam...

 

completely support this idea.

That type of spam happens quite frequently, you have 5 post leechers coming in who have no idea who the hell the mod is and spam PC saying "ya they 4re leik doing s0 Grate d00d". I dont think each mod should have a sticky, but I think feedback should not add to post count. It wont ever happen, but I support it.

 

Finally , Someone with a brain... ( Scratch the mod sticky thread then )

 

I don't see why this section is even there. Why does one mod get a standing ovation when other mods never get noticed. Alot of them do hard work, and its nothing but a popularity/spam fested area that doesn't deserve to be added to someones post count.

Not all feedback is good.

 

Thats correct - But I haven't Yet seen Bad feedback ( with evidence ) about a mod

 

Because usually bad feedback is locked and archived.

 

And how about a new rule... Constructive feedback only. I do support that post count should be disabled to reduce spam.

 

Why, should one mods mistakes be made public and discussed by other members that usually have no idea what really happened. Those topics should remain private and talked about amongst other staff members only.

 

That Already is a rule , Well - In the "Runescape Pictures/Videos Sections"

Which should definatley be impletmented in this section OR No post count.

 

We aren't going to disable post count for any more forums. Its dumb.

Of course, but also OMM applications get full of "Good luck" or "Vouch".
