    Giving scammers a second chance.

What are your personal opinions about this? Would you be able to feel alright knowing the mods gave another chance to a scammer? Are you willing to believe that they've changed and will not scam again? What are your opinions on how to make sure they don't abuse the trust of the staff and scam again?

Scammers? Nope, don't support. If you want a real opinion, ask their victims.

    Giving scammers a second chance.

As far as I'm concerned, if it didn't happen on sythe, then they have no reason to be banned here.

Giving somebody who has scammed on sythe a second chance though, wouldn't be the best idea.

Personally, no I would not give somebody who has scammed on Sythe a second chance.

Finn has scammed before. He was given a second chance. People can change. I believe that.

If they have mercy and refund EVERYTHING they scammed in less than 24h after the crime, yes.
    Otherwise, no way.

How can they possibly do that? Most people scam something years before coming to Sythe.

    Giving scammers a second chance.

Some people do change. They feel remorse and wish they could take away what they've done. The issue is it's next to impossible to decide who is and isn't sorry for what they've done over the Internet.

If someone is truly sorry for what they've done and repay everything they've scammed...I guess I wouldn't mind them coming back with TwC

No. I'm asking because I want to know the community's thoughts are about this. If this is the wrong forum, kindly suggest where I might post this instead.

This only applies to people who have scammed in the past right? Not someone who keeps scamming now? For example, I'm totally legit on Sythe but I scam on Powerbot. That shouldn't be allowed.

Is what you mean that a person have to scam twice to get banned? I think not.

No, the weakness present in a persons heart, that made them scam in the first place, will always be there.

I think people can change, but only the minority of them do... Some scammers will get banned and see they did wrong, come back and try and change. Whereas the other 99% of scammers would come back and scam again.

If your going to give scammers a second chance, give them a TWC (Trade with caution).

People who have scammed other people before they joined Sythe should be allowed in Sythe. They've never heard of Sythe nor new the rules of Sythe.

But since you scammed on powerbot but still have a current Sythe account you should be banned.

For the record, I didn't scam anyone lol.

I see where you're all going, but what if a current member of the staff is found out to have scammed in the past? Would you treat him the same? Or shun him?
