Titanfall- released soon

But, I see some people playing the game already. A few people got caught streaming it on Twitch. Of course, they were either banned or told to stop streaming since it's not being allowed.

 

I'm beyond excited to play this game. It sucks the 360 is receiving a later release than pc / xbox one though... >.>

And yeah, I managed to catch 20 mins of a stream.

 

This game is the reason I'm getting an xbox one rather than the ps4. Beyond pumped.

 

I had the privilege to play the game in closed beta. I have to admit it was an awesome gaming experience. It's worth the pre-order and the price for the game.

Edit: I really hope they will include alot more maps than 15. There weren't many available in beta. That was the only very disappointing factor while playing the beta.

 

Awesome title but will it overcome CoD this year?

 

Oh hell fuck yes! CoD is not even comparable to CS:GO, but to each their own. lol

 

I just have a feeling that this game looks good but after a while it will die out. Looks sick tho not gonna lie

 

Is that not what happens with all games? Then eventually a new game comes out and is usually better in one way or another.

OT: I'm excited for Titanfall. Looks fantastic I'm just not excited to wait for the 360 version. Trin, did you try it on the 360 or a One? I'm wondering if there will be any issues with lag on the 360 compared to the One?

Here are SOME the facts:
It offers many different ways of playing, depending on your skill set. So, if you're not that good at playing first-person shooting games, this is a game for you as well as the pros.

The smart gun requires stealth and element of surprise. It also makes it easy to farm Grunts. The gun does lock onto its target & makes it easy for beginners to gain kills.

You never have to actually get in your Titan. When your Titan lands you can put it in guard or follow mode. It'll either patrol the area for enemies or walk behind you to scan for Grunts, enemy pilots, & other Titans. Also, if you are in the Titan & fighting another player also in a Titan, say that both of you eject at the same time, you can still exchange fire at each other as you are free-falling over 1000 feet in the air. Say that you are ejecting from your Titan and then you just so happen to see your enemy walking along the street, you can aim for his head as you are falling and open fire upon him as you're free-falling.

You can also shove your knife in a wall, perch on it behind a door and wait for your enemy to walk right through the door.

The possibilities of ways to play this game are nearly endless. You just can't get this from Fall Out, CoD or CS. The "concept" may be the same but the game play is way different on so many levels, too much to put all into one thread in my humble opinion.

Wait Trin did you buy the game? what do you play on PC? i'll get it if you own it lol I wanna see your skills at FPS games hahaha this should be funny, and about your earlier remark regarding Call of Duty... CoD is a console dominate FPS not really in the PC world.

 

Thats an understatement.. the online experience is on par with a call of duty, halo, counter strike.. in terms of glorious fps awesomeness.

 

First Week Titanfall was so popular on twitch, Now its one of the least viewed and yet many are streaming it.

After playing for a good portion of yesterday, I did enjoy it but I'm not sure it is as good as I thought it was going to be. It was fun for sure, but I wasn't as excited as I had originally thought.

 

The thing with call of duty especially on Xbox is it sticks... i play it all year long or at least 6 months and i get my money's worth... don't know if i can play titan-fall like that yet

It's fun, really fun. But it's not got me gripped like CoD's have in the past - Yes, I'm a console gamer and CoDFag. It's okay to pick up & play, but not to sweat for hours like CoD used to be for me! Perhaps It's more to do with less free time..

 

I've been playing with a team and I get the same feeling. Probably 1/25 games is a competition. What they need to do is hurry up with the private system so the competitive side of the game has room to grow.

 

Very true, I play with 2 or 3 guys I used to play competitive CoD & Rainbow 6 with.. We're all decent at FPS's and we breeze through this, like you said, 1/25. We've gone days without loosing, playing for a few hours a day.
