Sythe Design Tips

I'll be updating this thread occasionally with tips and shortcuts that will make your workflow more efficient. If you have any tips of your own feel free to post them below and I'll add them to the main post.

Spoiler: Fast access to sythe's background color

right click the grey area around the canvas and select "select custom color". The HexCode for SytheXen is 0f1c2b. After you do that right click outside of the canvas again and select custom. Now you can use the eyedropper tool to select the background color and use the bucket tool to fill the canvas with the correct background color. The nice thing about this is that the custom color you saved will stay there even if you close photoshop so you only have to input the color once.

 

This works, but I prefer to save it in my swatches. Having it there, to me, looks better than changing the whole canvas to dark blue.
