Sythe Community-Based Clan

Good day, members of Sythe!

This is merely just a poll to ask members what they think of an unofficial (hopefully to be official) community clan for Sythe.


I've been playing RuneScape since 2001, and I haven't really seen many community-based clans. I've seen community websites that have their own followers and supporters, but never really any progressive clans. Especially an underground one if Sythe had one.

You be asking: What is a community-based RuneScape clan?

It's simple really. It's a clan that's mainly focused on the members of it's community, and what they strive for. Example: skilling, boss monsters, minigames, events, etc...


Please note: This thread is only to vote and state your opinion on the clan, if it were to ever officially be made.

BTW, this has been attempted before. It failed horribly.

First of all, I would like to say sorry for my inevitable attempt at hi-jacking your SSS thread.


But I would definitely like to see a Moderator leave a reply on this thread. I've seen members of Sythe come together and decide to make their own clans, but never really an Administrator promote a clan to this level. But really, the kind of stuff this clan would have is based on what the community wants it to be.

I'll definitely commit to it, if the idea is liked and progressed in a positive way. I have many ideas I'd like to incorporate into the clan, that I've never really had the chance to spread-out in a positive way.

 

I don't know if I would join it, Jagex would flag everyone in it as an RWTer.

 

Not necessarily. As long as we didn't talk about any things that break rules or Sythe.org directly. There is no problem with people from a site playing together in RuneScape.

 

yeah i agree that if jagex finds out it might be bad for us lol i'd rather not get everyone on this site to know my mains account name

 

Voted. I think this would be fun, playing with other fellow Sythe members. Just because your part of Sythe, doesn't mean you hack/RWT/Bot etc.
As Ferren said, we'd be good along as we didn't talk about anything against the rules in clan chat.

I'd say to make it invite only aswell, to make sure only Sythe members can join. I.e Have to PM someone to Sythe to get an invite into the clan.

If you're too paranoid about being suspected as a rule breaker by Jagex or don't want others to know your account name then simply do not join.

If a full out clan seems too much, may I suggest a Clan Chat where sythe members can just chill in and chat while on Runescape?

 

Wouldn't join it, however I'd be for it to be made.
