    Sythe clarification rule
    There used to be a rule where if a gold buyer/seller bumped recently and did not reply in a timely manner they would get a strike. Is this still a rule?

    Also is it against the rules to advertise a payment option in the thread but not actually offer it in a timely manner? For example they offer cashapp payment in their thread, bump the thread but not offer cashapp for 12 hours since the only one who can do cashapp payments is asleep.

    Great point on the surface, but I would say that giving a definitive answer to a hypothetical scenario of this nature, i.e. a potentially reportable market violation with negative impact, without the full context and evidence is sometimes better avoided than giving a wrong answer, or risking misuse of that answer to get a better deal - e.g. linking the offender this thread and demanding a compensation, or else - or to save time and avoid a discussion between staff members about a hypothetical situation that may not end up being reported, and finally giving you a definitive answer may be seen as an official decision by someone who does not know our reporting protocols.

    However, if a staff member can think of a precedent off the top of his head, he will usually take the time to direct you to a report.
