How do I gain a good rep?

I was really wanting to start gaining a good reputation on here which could eventually help me open my own buying/selling stall etc.

Obvious it would be hard to gain trust on here so I was just curious as to how I could go about doing this. Are there any tips that any of you well known and 'legit' Sythe users did to get started?

 

Accumulate vouches. How you do that? It's up to you. You can also donate $25 and get SVU (Sythe Verified User) to use it as collateral for smaller trades and build trust that way.

 

Try to offer free skilling/questing to get some vouches on your belt. Donate some money to the site aswell, that will for sure help you out at the beginning.
Once you get a few vouches, you can start charging for skilling/questing if you like, and branch out to other things such as middlemanning for more vouches.

 

But if I offer free services at the beginning won't people just think that it's a scam/too good to be true?

 

A lot of people start out free to gain vouches, seems like it's worth the risk for some people

 

Like stated above, try doing services for free or for a small price to gain vouches. Later you can start charging more, or do other services.

 

People still won't trust you with things / give you newer accounts, but it's the consistent stream of trades that will help you regardless. Good luck! Remember we were all in your shoes at one point.

 

Keep trading and building up your vouches thread. Don't offer free services/things, people will just try to mooch off you. It takes time. Use trusted middleman to guarantee some early trades to start building your reputation -- Become sythe verified and maintain an active role in the community to gain familiarity
