Time Lost [Large piece]

Quick little large piece, first one in a year or so.

A comment and a favourite would be appreciated ​

 

It is a neat concept, but I think the execution and the composition need some work. There isn't really a theme established and the piece is sort of unbalanced to the right side and really bland on the lower left.

 

Cheers for the CnC. I'll admit it definitely doesn't feel finished, but couldn't think up much else to fill in the left half. But I agree, it seems really balanced to the right. Ah well, slowly creeping back into it.

Large art, basically a conceptual piece. I know it's a little unclear on this one in particular, was more of a practice after having not made one for so long.

Don't really get it but can see a lot of effort has gone into it and I think looks pretty cool

 

+ colour/sharpness/contrast
+ composition (so far)/placement
+ manip
- don't use the same bird stock 3 times in a piece and think it's sly, try use sets of stocks so you can vary
- faint vertical white line from the biggest bird stock's wing leading left (why's it there?)
- seems like wip

Generally, it doesn't ahve to have a cluttered background etc. It looks pretty sexy as it is (colours are nice enough to suffice as a bg), though execution could be slightly better. More elements/fx needed, or more detail needed in the ones there already.

Sexy piece though, genuinely sexy piece.

 

Cheers man, and yeah it's totally a WIP.. probably won't end up finishing it at all though.

I like it, just really not liking how there's yellow and black strides under everything .... yea i dont like the 3 of the same bird idea aswell lol

also may i suggest adding an artificial sun in the bg or maybe planets or some sort of space might look cool
