Mercenaries 2 glitch? (xbox 360)

all right, so I was tryin to complete the third level of the airstrike mission, and I found out you can't run outside of the bags. Well I ran back inside of them right as it got to zero, and it said that the wager was lost. I waited for it to re-log me to the base, but it didn't. I decided to run out again and stay there to see what would happen. It got to zero, and didn't do anything. I was able to run around, yet I couldn't use weapons, pick them up, drive a car, use airstrikes, etc.. I was able to punch people though, so I killed a guy to see what would happen. It took some of my cash and warned me about killing civilians and whatnot. Then to my complete surprise, the guy stood up and ran away! I did this to a few more people till I got bored. Has anyone else heard of this? I find it quite odd.
