    Time.

Is time a fraction of our imagination? I mean we simply cannot really tell time. So how do we know what time is what? I mean, back in the days their were no clocks, or calendars. They calculated time by the suns location, not the dial on a clock. What are your views on this? Any spamming what so ever will just be reported, so do not post your stupid view on this if it invovles "gtfo sythe newfag" etc.

I am not really sure if time exist or not, but there are two factors:

it never began, and it will never end, thus it must not exist?

but counter proof is that things happen, and not simultaneously, which thus proves that time is happening.

    Time.

Time is something that man has assigned to plan our lives. It has both enslaved us and freed us.

Enslaved: Always checking the clock, stressed when late, seems our lives move slower

Free: Help us manage our day to be able to do more things, Plan weeks, months days ahead we wouldn't be able to do otherwise.

    Time.

It's not a fraction of our imagination. We judge the time yearly by the position and tilt of the earth. Oh and they used sun dials "back in the day"

    Time.

I am talking before that for one, and for the other "back in the day" not everyone had a sun dial exactly. And not every day was "bright and sunny."

Think how much more stress free our lives would be if time had not been invented.

You are correct, things happen. But that does not mean that they happen at a sort of paced, calculated down point. Things happen at random, that is the only problem.

Well how far back are we going? Far back enough so that the time of day didn't really matter and there were no governments?

But we wouldn't have history at all. How would we learn from the past. Everything is set around dates, dates, dates

We can argue against that saying events were recorded in relation to other events

Governments only happened a couple hundred years back. Before then their was a ruler, who was mostly not chosen but crowned himself with force, who reigned the land with a hand of steel. Not always, but most of the time that is.

Or people could just say, "ages ago, or recently"

Time can't exist, as it never ends, and know one knows when it began. The whole concept makes no sense. Anyway, this should probably belong in SFA, as it is an intellectual conversation.

True, but one could argue the same with religion, and morals, and faith, and chance, a whole bunch of things around the world. Also, thanks hopefully a mod will move it then.

Romans had a council. If an opposing member did not like what was happening, either a stabbing would occur, or a poisoning. Your sir, need to brush up on your history. What kind of government is that? I am talking about the kind that is at least semi beneficial to the society.

Rome was originally, when it was poor and small, a unique
example of austere virtue; then it corrupted, it spoiled, it
rotted itself by all the vices; so, little by little, we have
been brought into the present condition in which we are able
neither to tolerate the evils from which we suffer, nor the
remedies we need to cure them.

Their is a quote to finish this debate, and next off. Here is a little popular saying. Go back in time and see what happened in history, so that it does not repeat. People still die so that others can live a better life. People still take advantage over others for their own benefit. Their is still poverty. What has time solved? Nothing.

Seriously, what the fuck. I don't give a shit if your trying to clown off, just go do it on the black market section, not here.
