    Two Lives... please help

I lived in Tasmania for two years of my life, moving from Melbourne, i left my entire family except for my father and step mother. i moved in with them and did schooling at scottsdale. after completing year 10 i moved to Burnie to attend Hellyer College.
i had been stabbed in the back, i found myself homeless several times, it seemed friend and foe alike lurked in the dark waiting to strike again.
i moved to Melbourne for a month waiting for a house which was getting ready. i was informed that i was no longer getting that house. the situation at the moment is that i dreamed of living independently, i had a life in Tasmania. As i spent time with new people in Melbourne i developed a life here as well. A decision has to be made, Melbourne or Tasmania?
Using this information can you please post advise and your thoughts on this situation...
    thank you for your time.

If you can still be in contact with your family and relatives then give melbourne a shot. If not, stay with your family, they're more precious then anything in the world.

Make up your own mind, don't let somebody else make it up for you.

And don't come to sythe with a problem like this because that's just stupid.
